Gulf Oil Disaster News

Hello All,

I’ve been away and unable to post until today. But let me begin by saying the oil is still there! The Gulf of Mexico is still polluted and the people who live and work there are still suffering.

Many people are not willing to risk their contract work with BP in order to say the truth, but some whisper among themselves that they are getting sick. They are coughing. They feel like they have the flu. Their throats are sore, they are in pain, and they know it is because of the toxins in the air they are breathing – the VOCs in the air due to the presence of crude oil and dispersant. There is no longer a question in the hearts of the pilots and the rig workers. Anyone who cleans up the shore knows it. The people who point out the smaller slicks that appear by day can hear the dispersant airplanes, which, under cover of darkness, sink the oil at night.

The latest story is that tarballs are washing up on a beach in Long Island, New York – suggestive of the possibility that the Gulf Stream did just what the prognosticators said it would do, taking the oil up the Eastern Seaboard.

Today’s update contains a video from a BP Town Hall held in Grand Isle on July 29. As of that date, the residents were still hearing the planes flying at night to sink the oil, though BP is claiming that the oil is gone and they can’t find any oil.

So, is the oil really gone? Or is it still sitting at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico, exactly where BP put it by spraying millions of gallons of COREXIT on top of the gusher in order to sink the oil. Out of sight, out of mind? Tell that to the people who are experiencing toxic rain in ALABAMA! How about the BP cleanup workers who are ILL?

If I were a gambler, my money would be on BP selling it’s Deepwater Horizon assets very soon, now that they have put the rabbit into the hat. But they’d better move quickly, because that rabbit will be emerging all by itself soon enough.

And what does the rest of the nation do while people in the Gulf begin their downhill slide into a slow, toxic, painful death? They suspend disbelief – they want to believe the fantasy that all the oil is gone and everything is getting back to normal. Isn’t that what Hollywood has taught us to do, after all? We take off our “thinking caps” and swallow the story whole, like a bunch of gullible fish.

Where is the righteous anger? Where is the outrage? If outrage is a simple blog and a little bit of footage that shows oil slicks, then it will fail. Where are the testimonials of people who are sick and unable to work because of the toxic soup of sweet crude, methane, and COREXIT? Where are the interviews with BP people, faces hidden and voices disguised, coming forward as whistle-blowers because they have grown a conscience and want the truth to be known? Where are the Erin Brockovitches and Kindra Arnesons of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and the rest of the Gulf States?

Part of the problem is suppression. Unless you go to web-sites that can be “iffy” in their reporting methods, and unless you employ critical thinking and check facts, it can be nearly impossible to ferret out real stories from hyperbole. But the truth remains that 80+ days of oil gushing out into the Gulf of Mexico, times at least 80,000 barrels of oil per day, equals far more oil that we are being shown!

So, button, button, who’s got the button??

July 13, 2010 -I just have to ask…

Is anybody reading? Is anyone passing these updates to those who need to know? I’d like to hear from some of you if you have the time. The problem has not disappeared just because it’s not Front Page News. It is worse since yesterday, and it grows worse every day because there are THREE LEAKS, and NOT just the one you see on Television.

July 12, 2010 –

Today I give you “The Fringe Edition” – Some of these are stories that have been humming around the Internet regarding BP, and I haven’t wanted to post them to you because some of them are downright scary. But I decided that I don’t need to censor information for you. Instead I can just say these videos are telling us information we are not used to hearing, but it won’t hurt for us to listen and see if any of it sounds familiar.

I recognized certain memes, certain scenarios, and even certain science. Since we have no answers from “The Powers That Be” (TPTB), we must listen to every reasonable idea and put it into the mix. There are conspiracies in theory – hence conspiracy theorists; then there are conspiracies in fact. Just because we think something is a conspiracy doesn’t mean it isn’t a conspiracy! But we cannot truly say we have examined all possibilities if we have siphoned off only the stories that tread on “safe” ground, because this ongoing travesty – this debacle in the Gulf of Mexico – is an unusual situation. It has been handled in an unusual way, and it is having dire consequences as it just goes on and on and on!

July 8, 2010 -  Before we get to the news, I’d like to say a few words.

We can’t give up the fight! We can’t ignore the fact that 100,000 Barrels of Oil per DAY are being SPEWED into the Gulf Waters! We must KEEP this at the forefront of the NEWS! We must KEEP this in the minds of Americans! We cannot ALLOW this to recede from the forefront of the daily reports! The longer it goes on the greater the impact on the lives of our people. It is NOT CONVENIENT!  That’s okay! We need to MAKE SURE THE PEOPLE KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON!  See how few stories there are to tell today? One of them is my own story! That is UNACCEPTABLE! AMERICA HAS LOST HER SENSE OF OUTRAGE! WAKE UP!

We must not stop praying for the poor people on the Gulf, whose way of life is gone. We must  pray for them every day!

Hello All,

First, before I give you links, let me give you a quick synopsis of the information on one of the videos I watched. Lindsey Williams reported that the EPA went and tested the air in the Gulf of Mexico, and made a report on the following chemicals – they found the following dangerous VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (VOCs) IN THE AIR!

1. Hydrogen Sulfide (sour gas):

acceptable amount is 5 to 10 ppb (parts per billion)

actual amount in the air is 1200 ppb!

2. Benzene:

acceptable amount is 0-04 ppb

actual amount in the air is 3000 ppb!

3. Methylene Chloride:

acceptable amount is 61 ppb

actual amount in the air is 3000 – 34000 ppb!

But now the following article asks if the EPA is skewing the numbers, and that they ARE REPORTING in ppm (parts per million) and not ppb (parts per billion). This is why clean-up crews are getting sick dying. A hurricane could take these toxic substances through the air up the eastern seaboard, or they can go wherever the wind blows. Also, it would take months to drill sideways to place a nuke, which would be a good strategy if they could guarantee that it would work, but if it “cracks the strata, it (the leak) will go on forever”.
